As a teacher, my main focus is to create a classroom where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to explore and share their voice. I believe that learning flourishes in an environment where students feel safe and supported, allowing them to take intellectual risks, challenge their own assumptions, and engage in open and honest dialogue.
I believe in the power of the student voice; the power of allowing a young person to be their most authentic self. Through thoughtful feedback and active listening, I hope to nurture students into feeling seen and heard.
